The Cambridge Lactation Network was launched in November 2021 by Dr Claire Meek and Dr Albert Koulman from the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic Science working with Dr Alecia-Jane Twigger from the Stem Cell Institute. The aim is to bring together interested lactation researchers from several Departments and Institutions across Cambridge to help foster collaboration and resource sharing. Together, the hope is to untangle the role lactation and human milk has in health, disease, development and beyond. The Network welcomes all members of the research community interested in lactation biology and hosts quarterly meetings with a longer symposium held in summer.
Next meeting – Tuesday 5 September 2023, 3-5pm at the IMS-MRL Seminar Rooms.
