A new video called ‘What impact will your next connection have?’ encourages researchers to get involved in the lively network of cross-School initiatives at the University. The Cambridge Metabolic Network is one of a number of Strategic Research Networks, Initiatives and Interdisciplinary Research Centres funded by the University. The Metabolic Network which links and promotes research activities among the broad academic research community in Cambridge, including members of all six Schools of the University and key regional partner organisations. Our goal is to generate fresh insight into research in the field of metabolism. We want to establish an inter-disciplinary community of researchers, support development of new research, co-ordinate activities in areas of importance to research in metabolism and facilitate translation of research to benefit current and future populations.
