Leads the Computational Genomics in Prof Sadaf Farooqi’s GOOS team on obesity/thinness and rare diseases with a focus on rare genomic variants in hypothalamic dysfunction and dysregulated energy balance. We perform computational analysis of whole-exome sequencing, RNA-seq, metabolomics and integrative ‘omics of neuronal and adipose tissue.
Post-doctoral work on cancer genomics at King’s College London and a background in Mathematics (MA/Part III/MMath, Cambridge) and Computational Biology/Bioinformatics (PhD, Functional Genomics group at EMBL-EBI).
