Research Summary

NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase is one of the largest enzymes in the cell. It is a major contributor of the proton motive force in the mitochondria and is also a major source of reactive oxygen species. Our lab focusses on understanding how the redox reaction is coupled to proton transport.
