Developing New Collaborations in Nanomedicine Workshop

24th February 2016 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This event aims to prepare ground for new interdisciplinary collaborations between basic biologists and medical researchers on one side, and physical scientists and engineers on the other, within the field of Nanomedicine. Come and hear talks from two leading academics about the future of Nanoscience in biomedical research and a number of shotgun presentations from postdocs already working at this interface, offering views from both perspectives. In near future the Cambridge NanoForum is planning a call for a number of Nanomedicine Pump-Prime Projects, funding Postdoctoral Fellowships. We will be looking for collaborative projects to support through this scheme – this event allows you to make a head start, meet prospective collaborators and think about new science you can do together. After the talks, there will be time for informal networking and discussions to develop new ideas and collaboration.
