4-6pm
Metabolomics and lipidomics are becoming more relevant to many areas of science and across the Cambridge area, different groups are active in this field. In a collaboration between Cambridge Metabolism, the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic Science, MRC Mitochondrial Biology Unit and Babraham Institute, we want to bring together everybody in Cambridge who is working on, or interested in metabolomics and lipidomics. We are organising a series of talks on the methods and approaches in metabolomics and lipidomics, followed by the opportunity to meet and chat more informally over refreshments.
The talks are open to everybody from students, scientists, technicians and technologists. With the enormous breadth of science topics in which metabolomics and lipidomics are used we want to focus the CaMeL talks on the technology, from sample prep, analysis, data processing and data analysis.
Organisers: Dr Albert Koulman (NIHR BRC Metabolomics and Lipidomics facility, IMS-MRL); Professor Mike Murphy (MRC Mitochondrial Biology Unit), Dr Sophie Trefely (Babraham Institute)
