Drug Discovery workshop

Aimed at senior post docs and early stage career researchers
GlaxoSmithKline have kindly agreed to host a workshop in Drug Discovery on Thursday 15th July 2015 from 4 to 7.30pm.
The workshop is aimed at senior post docs and early stage career researchers who would like to learn more about how drug discovery works. The format of the workshop will be a series of interactive talks covering targets, therapeutics and efficacy presented by those actively engaged in drug discovery at GSK. The workshop will be followed by informal drinks so people have the chance to talk to some of the GSK people. Our new Entrepreneur in Residence, Dr Jeremy Griggs, will also be attending the event.
In order to keep the workshop informal and lively, we have limited the number of places to 25.
If you are interested in attending the workshop please email Jana Voigt Jana.Voigt@medschl.cam.ac.uk by 19th June. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If there is sufficient demand for the workshop GSK have indicated they might be willing to deliver further workshops.
