Introduction to Project Management for women researchers

2nd June 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Free

An interactive session for women researchers to introduce you to the fundamentals of managing your research project

Is my Research a Project? What is a Gantt chart?
Do you want to attend a project management course and need help choosing which one?
Do you want to talk with others about Project Management?
In this session we will discuss the definition a Project and why it requires a different approach to business as usual, with emphasis on project management tools such as Plans, Registers and Strategies, and information about the different courses available (PRINCE2, ICR, APM, etc). The session will be interactive so feel free to bring examples of tools you use, methods you have found useful, or questions you have been wanting to ask about project management.
