Nobel Laureates Michael Brown and Joseph Goldstein at Churchill College

A unique opportunity to meet with two Nobel Laureates in Cambridge (UK) on 21 October 2014

Nobel Laureates Michael S. Brown and Joseph L. Goldstein will visit Churchill College as part of the the Nobel Prize Inspiration Initiative (NPII).

Brown and Goldstein have worked together for over 40 years, in one of the most famous and enduring collaborations in science. The pair jointly run the Brown/Goldstein Laboratory at the University of Texas Southwestern. They shared the 1985 Nobel Prize in Medicine “for their discoveries concerning the regulation of cholesterol metabolism”.

Join the Laureates at Churchill College for an afternoon event:
14:00–15:30       Lecture by Joseph L. Goldstein – How Cells Sense Sterols

15:30–16:00       Break with refreshments

16:00–17:30       Moderated panel discussion – Understanding Disorders of Metabolism
Panellists include Michael S. Brown and Joseph L. Goldstein

17:30–18:00       Drinks reception
This ticket will grant you entry to all components of the programme. Please note there will be an overflow room available with a live stream should the auditorium be full.
