We are pleased to announce that the Cambridge Metabolic Network and AstraZeneca will host a Science Symposium in 2015, dedicated to exploring the next generation of treatments for metabolic disease. The event takes place on March 26-27th at Murray Edwards College in Cambridge.
Creating vibrant, open environments where scientists can more freely share ideas and knowledge is fundamental to discovering and developing the next generation of life changing medicines. This event promises to be a great opportunity for scientists from the Cambridge scientific community and AstraZeneca to discuss and present innovative/breakthrough research in ‘Metabolism’, and uncover new opportunities for scientific collaboration.
The symposium is aimed at a broad range of scientists – from PhD students and postdocs through to established group leaders – who are actively engaged in metabolism research with a focus on metabolic disease relevant to obesity, insulin resistance, diabetes and its complications.
You are invited to submit a poster abstract of up to 250 words when registering your interest. A panel of representatives from Cambridge and AstraZeneca will consider the submitted abstracts and select presenters to ensure a balanced programme.
The deadline for registering your interest was February 2nd.
Spaces are limited; therefore preference will be given to presenters wishing to give a poster presentation. Attendance will be confirmed after abstract selection.
