Research
I am interested in the roles of short-chain acyl-CoA metabolism in the heart, particularly in diabetic cardiomyopathy. I use a combination of mouse models and human iPSC derived cardiomyocytes to study this using absolute quantification of short-chain acyl-CoAs and HILIC based LC-MS of polar metabolites.
